*Dance*

I lift my leg and point my toes, 
How I feel nobody knows. 
I jump up, I fall down, 
Before I know I'm on the ground. 
But then I reach up, 
Hoping for a hand to touch...
Standing again there's no sound; 
I'm strong and mighty without a frown. 
Eyes suddenly pop open wide, 
All because my love and pride. 
I do a plie and take my stance, 
Realizing my life is *Dance*.

Gone But NEVER Forgotten

Sometimes in the middle of a perfectly normal day the world will come crashing down on you. That feeling was felt among many when the news got out about Kevin, Rene, and Jonathan. On the morning of January 28, 2012 a young soul was lost to a drunk driver & life's were permanently changed from that day on. It's surreal at first...Just seeing you the day before and realizing that you won't be there later. At least those you came across you left them with a smile.


A member of our Cane Ridge family was killed by a drunk driver this morning. He had the biggest heart and the warmest smile. A3 won't be the same without him. We'll miss you, Kevin.  - Mrs.Vlassis

Its hard to bare not seeing your smiling face anymore. I have this image of you stuck in my head. Nothing will be the same now and our life's have changed. Waking up at 5am is definitely not my cup of tea but today starts the last of many days to come. Spring Semester is finally here! For all of the Seniors this well be our last semester at Cane Ridge High School. Many of us, including myself, are excited about life after high school *woohoo* :D In truth it is all really bittersweet after the things we've gone through in the past 3 years..but anyways Seniors Rule!!! haha
